Recommissionning

The Recommissioning of Building Mechanical Systems Program consists of paying part of the costs of the five phases associated with the recommissioning of a building that will be carried out by an accredited agent. The five phases are: planning, investigation, implementation, transfer, and on-going monitoring. (Pop-ups explain the phases in more detail.)

The program has been introduced by Gaz Métro, Hydro-Québec, and the Bureau de l'efficacité et innovation énergétiques (BEIÉ).  This partnership means that the registration process is simpler since the documents to be completed to obtain financial assistance will serve either Gaz Métro or Hydro Québec.  TAll information pertaining to this program as well as all necesary documents can be found at: www.remiseaupointbatiment.com.

Please take note that this web site is available only in French.

These conditions for participation are applicable from January 1 to December 31, 2011

The program is aimed at:

Current Hydro-Québec customers, or current Hydro-Québec and Gaz Métro customers, whose building:

  • has a commercial or institutional vocation
  • has a floor area equal to or more than 100,000 square feet (9,290 square metres);
  • was built 5 years or more before the time of the request;
  • has a centralized digital control system and a functioning electromechanical system.

The customer must make a financial commitment and dedicate a resource-person to the project.
