As a Gaz Métro customer, you can also benefit from the programs offered by the Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF). The EEF proposes innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption while contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases.

The following are programs offered by the EEF :

Ecoenergetic renovations

The EEF offers a financial assistance for energy efficiency work done on the building envelope;

Solar heating

The EEF offers a substantial financial assistance towards the purchase and installation of a solar heating system, in addition to the grant offered under the program ecoENERGY;

Drain water heat recovery systems

The EEF offers a financial assistance towards the installation of drain water heat recovery units. These systems enable you to realize considerable savings on water heating. Consult the energy savings simulation tool to calculate the potential savings.

New efficient buildings

The EEF offers a financial assistance for natural gas saved towards the construction of a new, or extension of an existing building.

The EEF also offers programs for housing cooperatives, non profit housing cooperations and social community organizations that help people in need.
