Feasibility studies and energy simulations
Encourages the use of feasibility studies carried out by a participating energy engineering consulting firm.
Helps defray part of the cost of an energy simulation that determines the ways of improving the energy efficiency of a building.
50% of the cost of the study up to a maximum of $5,000
Implementation incentives for energy efficiency measures
Encourages the implementation of energy efficiency measures for more efficient use of natural gas (excluding appliances already covered by appliance acquisition programs).
$0.25 per cubic metre of natural gas economized, up to a maximum of $25,000
Innovative Technology
Encourage experimental projects and the development of new technologies, the innovative use of existing technologies or the complementary integration of renewable energy2 in a building that uses natural gas.
Up to 75% of expenses to actualize the project or up to a maximum of $25,000 for an experimental project or $100,000 for a demonstration project, whichever is less.
As a Gaz Métro customer, you may also take advantage of programs offered by the Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF). This fund offers innovative solutions to reduce your energy consumption while contributing to reduced greenhouse gases.
